孙智伟,男,1965年10月生。1992年毕业于南京大学数学系,获理学博士学位。
1993年10月应邀赴香港大学作短期访问并作了专题报告。1995.9-1996.9赴意大利Trento大学进修,还应邀访问了Pisa大学、Genova大学等。美国数学会会员,美国(Math.Reviews)数学评论员,纽约科学院院士。
研究方向: 数论,组合,离散数学,群论,数理逻辑数论,尤其是组合数论中的覆盖理论(包括整数环中的同余覆盖系、群或陪集覆盖、覆盖的各种推广与应用)以及与逻辑有交叉的Hilbert第十问题等判定性问题。
